A brass band in Madrid? New Orleans sound from Malasaña? Nola Brass Band it has made possible. A group of eight daring citizens of Madrid led by Joshua Garcia on trumpet and direction are the architects of this adventure is now reflected in this 'Back from New Orleans 1890-2015'. A business card recorded live Tempo Club in Madrid earlier this 2015.

What's inside: a review of the most typical music of New Orleans from the large and festive ‘Big Chief' to the funeral ‘Just a Closer Walk With Thee' Bouncing the recording. Between these two great songs have forays into the religious part with gospeliano 'Jesus On The Mainline' and the hymn 'I'll Fly Haway' Albert E. Brumley of. We could not miss the carnival, nothing less than the 'Iko Iko'. Come on, do not miss not one for the party.

To this adds the most modern part with three compositions. Two themes provides the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the ‘Charlie Dozen' y ‘Snowball' and one comes from the factory Neville, funky ‘Cissy Strut' Art Neville.

In the formation of the 'Nola' besides Joshua are Santiago Vallejo bending Joshua on trumpet, James Glen trombone, Martin Garcia on tenor sax, David Carrasco baritone sax, Jose Luis Martin carries the tuba while the voice and guitar is Pere Mallen and Ruben Square, one of the fathers of the idea, deals rhythm with drums and percussion.

If you like New Orleans and its musicOr if you want to enjoy a festive music without leaving home this is a good album, but the best, as often happens with brass bands, is that you can enjoy it live.

Long live the Nola Brass Band which leads from the 2013 brightening life with his forceful, effective and festive musical style.
