American soul-blues master, Mighty Sam McClain, and Persian lioness, Mahsa Vahdat, follow up their 2010 collaboration Scent of Reunion. Introduced to American audiences through Lullabies From The Axis Of Evil, Vahdat has been a voice for the many of sheltered women throughout Iran. Throughout McClain’s more than 50 year career, he has seen everything from being homeless to nominated for a Grammy Award. Under the same theme “Love Duets Across Civilizations”, the duo again intertwine English and Farsi lyrics to pull from their personal struggles and create another remarkable journey. This second journey is sure to move the heart, uplift the spirit, and again show that love knows no borders. The powerful duo is again backed by a Norwegian band led by guitarist Knut Reiersrud.
