  • Jamshied Sharifi: synthesizer, source and wave sequences

Jijimuge is a doctrine of the Kegon school of Japanese Buddhism. The doctrine states, basically, that everything is equal and valueless until it is made real. Jijimuge is also a set of tribal primal ambience from Mo Boma: Carsten Tiedemann (percussion and guitars), Skute Svercisson (bass), and Jamshied Sharifi (synthesizers). This is very cool camel music. Listeners will feel the smooth sway of the hump(s) in the arid desert soundscape. Mo Boma challenges listeners to consider the validity of the doctrine as they enter this exotic sound world. This modern desert soundscape will appeal to fans of Vas, Sheila Chandra, Kirby Shelstad, Loop Guru, Banco de Gaia, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, and Natacha Atlas. It is an important CD for world music fans.
