David Nathan's Soul Music label continues to provide a major service for R&B fanatics by reissuing Little Anthony & the Imperials' two albums for Avco: On a New Street (1973) and Hold On! (1975). Both sets had been out of print for ages, but the latter was particularly scarce since the label withdrew it shortly after release. The Top 30 R&B single "I'm Falling in Love with You," written by Jeanne Davis and produced by Thom Bell, leads the first album (some of which was produced by Tony Randazzo). Hold On!, a collaboration with Thom's brother Tony Bell and Phil Hurtt, had a couple fine contemporary A-sides with "Hold On (Just a Little Bit Longer)" (number 79 R&B) and "I've Got to Let You Go."
