This is the second of a pair of discs by Chris Cheek, Ethan Iverson, Ben Street, and Jorge Rossy, recorded live at Barcelona's Jamboree Club in early 2002. Over ten minutes shorter than its sister album, this one focuses on mesmerizing ballads like "Lazy Afternoon," "Stardust," "Midnight Sun," and "These Foolish Things." Even the normally up-tempo "Tea for Two" and "Lover" are played deliciously slow. (A few tracks are duos and trios.) Bill Evans' challenging 1962 gem, "Walking Up," is the oddball of the set.
