SWING NINJAS evolved from a paired-down 3 piece busking band, via 2 self-released cover version CDs, to their current incarnation as a New Orleans style big-band signed to hip dance-based imprint FRESHLY SQUEEZED. This album is their first of original material and features a 7-piece line-up of superb jazz talent plus assorted guests and backing singers. It's a wry gumbo of Louisiana's musical heritage with a blackly humorous British look at life, lust & penitence.
