Although Joe Negri is widely known nationally for his role as "Handyman Negri" from the PBS program, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, a smaller subset of truly fortunate fans have had the opportunity to appreciate his "chops" as a first rate jazz guitarist. This collection is comprised of a number of jazz standards, extremely well recorded at Pittsburgh's Manchester Craftsmen's Guild. The band is made up of most of the finest jazz musicians in the Pittsburgh area and fulfill their support role superbly. If you are already familiar with Joe's work, you will enjoy this album as a continuation of his marvelous career. If you have not had the good fortune to hear Mr. Negri before now, you have a real treat awaiting you. Highly Recommended.
