The album, 'Oh - My Beautiful You' comprises the songs from the project Ten Writers Telling Lies: a book of stories and poems from 10 Glasgow writers. The stories and poems were inspired by the songs on the album.
The ten writers were, Stephanie Brown, Pat Byrne, James Carson, Samina Chaudry, James Connarty, Pauline Lynch, Calum Maclean, Gillian Margaret Mayes, Micheal Norton and Stephen Watt.
Jim's musical style draws principally from American folk music. However, you may also detect a hotchpotch of influences from 1950s Rock 'n' Roll, 1960s pop, Celtic airs, Scottish folk, blues and film music.
