After the success of "Cotton & moonshine", Michele Biondi marks the second chapter for the record label Il Popolo del Blues, a brand founded by journalist and music producer Ernesto De Pascale, with national and digital distribution Audioglobe.
The singer guitarist signs ten pieces that refer to the new instances of contemporary blues.
Original compositions ranging from "Down by the river" to the final "No regrets", passing through "Lonely and lost", "The jail", "Brotherhood", "Too much weight", "Crosseyed blues", "Right now ”,“ Moving to Texas ”,“ Angel of the city ”.

Michele Biondi, indifferently at ease between electric and slide, has been on the stages of Italian and international blues clubs, reviews and festivals for about twenty years. The long list recalls Blues made in Italy, Lucca Blues Festival, Blues City Club Pistoia, Natchez Mississippi Celebration, Clarksdale Hambone Festival, Lugano Blues.

The Cotton & Moonshine tour 2018 touched 12 countries between Europe and the United States.
Among his numerous collaborations it is worth mentioning those with Ray Cashman, Stan Street, Rachelle Coba and Katie Bradley.
Michele Biond's personal style is supported by long-time bassist Giovanni Grasso and by the essential rhythmic support of drummer Antonio Marchesani. The work of vocal coach Matt Cressey, author of the song “Angel of the city”, was useful for the functional success of the project.
With the long-awaited "Down by the river", he publishes again for the label Il Popolo del Blues.
