Guido Di Leone and Francesca Leone form one of the best and most significant artistic partnerships not only in Italy, capable of interpreting Brazilian materials and mood, with perfect respect for the idiom and with unparalleled taste. A passion and an attitude carried on for years and already materialized in other excellent recordings. In thsi new album, titled Coracao Vagabundo, pieces that belong to the highest sphere of composers and authors such as Jobim, Caetano Veloso, Djavan, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Toquinuo, Vinicius de Moraes and others are revisited. Alongside them in some takes we find one of the most popular and award-winning groups of the Brazilian jazz scene: the Trio Corrente, already winner of two Grammys (the Oscar of music!), as best latin album alongside Paquito D’Rivera. The result is extraordinary and of great quality and class. Thus an old tradition is revived which has always seen an affinity and a particular history between Italian and Brazilian artists and composers.
