Ruby Winters is cut from the same mold as Dorothy "Misty Blue" Moore: She sings stately Southern soul and contemporary country ballads with an easy, smoldering passion. "I Will" made some waves overseas, and even did some business in the States. Her rendition of "Neither One of Us," originally done by Gladys Knight & the Pips, is a moving experience and, along with the title track, the best song here. She motors down country roads on "For the Good Times," "I Won't Mention It Again," and "I Can't Fake It Anymore," all strong ballads. The gospel-tinged "If This Is Our Last Time" is the only song she breaks a sweat on.
