Paolo Vinaccia has been in Norway since 1979 and participated in countless recordings over the past thirty years. In addition, he is a prominent musician in various jazz and rock contexts. He has worked with musicians such as Knut Reiersrud, Bendik Hofseth, Ståle Storløkken, Bugge Wesseltoft, Eivind Aarset, Arild Andersen and many more.
Guitarist Eivind Aarset has been invited to this concert in addition to the Norwegian Soloists' Choir and the conductor Grete Pedersen. Aarset is a musician many will recognize from collaborations with, among others, a Jon Hassell, David Sylvian, Bill Laswell, Jan Garbarek, Paolo Fresu, Nils Petter Molvær and Dhafer Youssef. The soloist choir has for many years been one of Norway's leading choirs and consists of professional singers.
Paolo Vinaccia has invited David Solheim (sound), Tord Knudsen (visuals) and Erlend Sæverud (video/images) to make full use of Oslo Cathedral with video and light projections. Judgment Day - according to Paulus, will be a unique audiovisual experience. Audun Aschim Steffensen has arranged the choral movements.
