Formed around the singular talent that was Patti Hamilton, Chicago teen soul trio, The Lovelites, released one album – With Love from The Lovelites – before disbanding. Their sole album, initially a commercial failure, would become a crate digger classic, selling with several-hundred dollar premiums on the second hand market over half a century after its release.
