Washington's third and final Capitol outing isn't nearly as memorable as her first two. There are pleasant moments to be found in the sullen "Don't Be an Island" and the rich "One More Night" (the latter covered in 1987 by Ana), but the overall tone is too formulaic and bland for the soulful vocalist's highly deserving pipes. Tracks such as the single "Do You Wanna, Huh?," a blatant knockoff of Amii Stewart's "Knock on Wood," and "I'm Into You," a poorly structured ballad performed with labelmate and ex-Dramatics member L.J. Reynolds, are aimless and unimpressive. Washington salvages a few of the weaker moments, but can't hide her lack of enthusiasm at certain points.
