Lars Saabye Christensen is known for the Norwegian audience from his versatile and long list of works which includes novels, short stories, poetry collections and movies. Ole Henrik Giørtz has worked as a composer and musician with a wide variety of orchestras and artists back from the 70s, such as Chipahua, Lotus, Ab Und Zu.
Ole Henrik and Lars have worked together since they met through the project: "Den akustiske skyggen" written for the Jazz Festival in Molde in 1993. After a resounding success with the performance they were invited back to Molde in 1998 with their performance "Skrapejern og silke ", and it was released on CD by Grappa Musikkforlag in 1999. In 2000, Lars released his poetry collection "Mann for sin katt." Ole Henrik then wrote music for several of the poems with the tought of a new performance. In 2009, the order for a performance came from Festspillene in Harstad, which became "Den Blå Kofferten" with Terje Strømdahl and Kristin Kajander in the lead roles. It is the material from these two projects which now constitutes the material on the new CD release "Det Kromatiske Minnet".
