On the 150th anniversary of Maurice Ravel's birth, Menorcan pianist Marco Mezquida resumes his dreamlike journey through the musical and personal inaginary universe of the French composer, which he began in 2017 with Ravel's Dreams, accompanied by Cuban cellist Martín Meléndez and Catalan percussionist Aleix Tobias. An oneiric journey through the modernity of his legacy and the eclecticism of the music that seduced him: from French classicism to the Romantic virtuosos, from experimentation with popular music to the influence of his contemporaries and the effervescence of jazz, recreating Ravel's music through improvisation and contemporary musical textures in a personal and unique way.
